System Design

An open-ended design round with no code and no single right answer — you're graded on how you think. Talk through the problem while you draw the architecture; the interviewer sees your diagram, pushes back on it, and once the core design stands, asks you to layer a generative-AI feature onto it. The closing phase covers tradeoffs, then cost, then how you would run it — the two criteria real rounds started grading this year.
